FIVE MAIN ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS IN THE CAR
(a) The lighting system (b) The ignition system (c) The charging system (d) The starting system (e) The battery THE LIGHTING SYSTEM The purpose of this system is to give illumination to the one driving the car. Lights on the car helps the operator or driver to make out where he is going. Both the inside, rear and the front of the car is fixed or mounted with lights e.g. room lights, signaling lights, breaking lights, reverse lights and head lights in order to give the vehicle its shape and presence on the road or parking proximity to all the road users. Dashboard lights (be covered on instrumentation topic soon) helps to give alert to the driver on the malfunction or efficiency of the engine in motion. THE IGNITION SYSTEM The purpose of this system is to generate the high and health voltage spark into the cylinder’s spark plugs in order to ignite the fuel air mixture in chamber following the correct firing order of the 12V petrol engine THE CHARG
